How it started
Our story
Yanai began with a simple realization: children of Zimbabwean descent, at home and in the diaspora, were losing touch with their linguistic heritage. What started as a handful of digital flashcards has grown into a platform that helps thousands of learners reconnect with Shona and Ndebele – because language is culture, identity, and belonging.
